A two-hour adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novel for younger readers, read by Nigel Pilkington with music and sound effects. First broadcast by The Big Toe Radio Show in 2004.

The Queen of the Elves (see also Lords and Ladies) has another attempt at invading the Discworld, and is stealing children.

With the help of the Wee Free Men, the Nac Mac Feegle (see also Carpe Jugulum), 9-year-old Tiffany Aching finds out that her grandmother used to be the witch of the Chalklands, and that she has inherited the trade.

When her baby brother is stolen, Tiffany and the Nac Mac Feegle enter the elves' world to steal him back.

Granny Weatherwax appears in the end of the story with Nanny Ogg in a cameo. Perhaps the most noteworthy item, in the context of the larger Discworld mythology, is that The Wee Free Men is the first and so far only novel in which Death does not appear.
