hey guys, i found the nocd crack for this. I know it's a .ru site, but I swear i'm not a bot hah. Look up "civilization 3 1.29 nocd" in Google, this will be the first site u find.
Anyone have any luck with this? I went to the site as suggested by mtw007 and downloaded the crack and installed. I still get the insert cd note when I try to play. Any ideas?
I'm not sure if this works for PTW as well as the original Civ3 because I havent finished the d/l... Create a shortcut on the desktop or use one in the start menu, right click it and inside the "target" box where the location to the file is, add -winver winme to the end so it lookes like this (your path may be diff.): "C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\Civilization3.exe" -winver winme
that made the no-cd work for me - havent tried xpac though...
the -winver winme didn't work for me. Mounted my ISO with virtual clone from slysoft. Tried changing drive letter to my mounted drive to be D: but that didn't solve either.
Still looking for a solution.
