Peline ed i suoi genitori, si muovono dall'India verso una cittadina francese , dove vive il nonno paterno di Peline, che Ã¨ un ricco industriale tessile.
Il viaggio continua tra mille peripezie. Gli incontri sono tanti, belli e brutti, ed un nuovo compagno si aggiunge ala carovana, ma il coraggio e la tenacia delle due donne riesce a far fronte a tutto.
Oramai la ex-yuogoslavia e Trieste sono alle spalle... cosÃ¬ come Verona e Milano: la Francia Ã¨ sempre piÃ¹ vicina!
