1926. En su gira mundial el Gran Houdini, el famoso mago, llega a Edimburgo entre los clamores del p�blico. Est� decidido a dar 10.000$ al m�dium que consiga pronunciar la �ltimas palabras que dijo su madre en su lecho de muerte. Su representante, el Sr. Sugarman y Harry comienzan a entrevistar a potenciales parapsic�logos. Al ver a Benjy y Mary, Harry siente por fin que ha encontrado a una m�dium digna del gran desaf�o.
