This rare Radio Promo from 1977, which eventually spawned the bootleg-buster, 'Rush Through Time' (YOU can compare the track listings with the $ signs!), was a nice introduction to many a new 'Rush' convert as well as reluctant radio stations all across the world to the marvelous, simply marvelous (!) music of Canadian Hard Rock merchants, 'Rush'! On offer are many of their early singles, including the ultra-rare single versions of 'Bacchus Plateau', 'Return Of The Prince' (both from seminal album, 'Caress Of Steel'), 'The Twilight Zone' and 'Lakeside Park'. The remaster adds an additional 7 tunes like the epic tracks, 'Working Man' and 'By-Tor & The Snow-Dog'! Great early 'Rush'! 16. By-Tor & The Snow-Dog (Fly By Night) 1975 ***** The intro aside, this epic of grand proportions never ceases to amaze, especially the 12/8 section! Utterly fabulous! Neil Peart is indeed the drum God, and lyrical genius of the universe!

This rare compilation from mid-1981 brings together some of the earliest singles by Canadian masters, 'Rush', like the rare 'Making Memories', the only song to share a lyrical writing credit by the three main honchos in the band's history: Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson & Neil Peart. Of course, early fan favourites like 'Closer To The Heart' are here on offer, but this compilation adds bonus rarities on the remaster such as the 'Prelude' from the epic '78 smash, 'Hemispheres', and lost singles like 'YYZ' (One of the best instrumentals ever conceived!), 'Circumstances' and 'Entré Nous' aka 'Just Between Us'! And, as if that weren't enough, this stupendous Remaster adds the cult-rarities of 'Bad Boy', in a special remix for this issue, and the band's first single ever from 1973, 'Not Fade Away', the penultimate tribute to Buddy Holly, Canuck-style!
